Basic Green & Avocado Salad
- 1 bunch of Kale, or another type of green, washed and ripped into small pieces
- ½ lemon
- Olive oil
- Sea salt or real salt
- ½ Avocado
- Beets
- Cucumber
- Nuts
You can use this preparation of greens to make any salad combination that you like. After greens have been washed and chopped put in a bowl. Toss really well with some of the lemon and drizzle of olive oil.
While greens are setting in olive oil and lemon, prepare other vegetables for salad. Put in avocado in last. Sprinkle with sea salt and toss. Super easy and delicious. Have fun with the ingredients. The key is the avocado.
If you want to make this a full meal add a protein like grilled tempeh, chicken or shrimp.
